Since opening its doors in 2005, Miami was introduced with a space where installations had another venue to reside along with other compelling work. Hardcore Art Contemporary Space (HACS) has presented the work of local and international artist in an assortment of different mediums which raised conceptual notions in our society.
This year it will present the works of renowned Latin American artists Gastón Ugalde and Milton Becerra. Ugalde has been noted to as the most important living Bolivian artist Venezuelan artist. Becerra is best known for addressing cultural and environmental concerns. His mixed media works apply a unique technique of weaving organic materials Bercerra learned during time spent with Amazonian tribes in the early 80′s.
