DWNTWN Art Days is pleased to present Southernmost Audio/Visual Situation, an exhibition of Visual/Audio works by local Miami artist and musicians.
Organized by curatorial and creative collective, Southernmost Situations, the exhibition will occupy inside and outside The Corner bar and surrounding areas. One night only, September 7, 2012 from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Southernmost Audio/Visual Situation, features collaborations between artists and musicians, including performances and installations in and outside The Corner bar. Free and open to the public.
Throughout the history of art-making, bars have been a pivotal meeting place for bohemian cultural savants to meet, drink, unwind, discuss, inspire, argue and vent. Typically these interactions are interdisciplinary by nature.
Southernmost Situations will be taking over The Corner bar for a single night, forcing a meeting of the minds in an exaggerated night of visual and audio conversations between painters, electronic musicians, dancers, film makers and more.
