Using ordinary classroom tools such as overhead projectors, educational transparencies and light-boxes Kevin Arrow transforms the interior of Dimensions Variable into a high saturated, metaphorical archeological site. Lessons are all enveloping.

“My work takes on various forms including, drawing, painting, film and audio based projects, merging my interest in obsolete media, archival tendencies, the ephemeral object and humor. My images are organized in a loose poetic manner creating an impression of visual flux.”

“There is always this presence I feel whenever I deal with Arrow’s work as a projection, a large one at that, he is making very intimate moments’ public in a way that was already public to begin with.”—Domingo Castillo
