Borscht is Dead: Curated by Indie Ethos & Collab With Choose954

Independent Ethos & Choose954 Are Excited To Be Bring You “Borscht Is Dead” – a series of short films produced by Borscht Corporation spanning the 13 years of its existence as selected by Independent Ethos’ co-founder and chief film critic Hans Morgenstern who also serves as the vice-chair of the Florida Film Critics Circle and as a Miami New Times arts and culture journalist for the Miami New Times Arts & Culture division.

Thursday, Oct. 19

Venue – Savor Cinema, 503 SE 6th St, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301

6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

– Courtyard/red carpet reception with silent auction by famed Miami artists Ahol Sniffs Glue, Farley Aguilar, Aramis Gutierrez, Bert Rodriguez and Augustina Woodgate.

7:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.

– Movies and Q&A with Filmmakers including Ahol Sniffs Glue, Bleeding Palm, Lucas Leyva, Julian Yuri Rodriguez, and more TBA.

Tickets: $13 GA $25 VIP, with premium seating and drink ticket

Proceeds from this event will go toward matching IndieEthos Knight Foundation Arts Challenge Grant to create a section for local film and music coverage on with a portion of proceeds going to support the Choose954 Social Movement aimed to Elevate Arts & Culture in Downtown FTL & Broward County.
