Discover how soup joumou survives the Haitian Revolution and has become the symbol of freedom. As we celebrate an African nation full of accomplishments and resilience; Higher Frequency invites you to experience the culture through food, music, and a documentary. This documentary will give you a glimpse of black history and why every person in the world should join in on the celebration of the Haitian Revolution. All guests will get to enjoy their own bowl of soup joumou (pumpkin soup) after the screening.
